Membership

Joining the Kabalega Foundation offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation and celebration of African cultural heritage, and promoting community development, leveraging the legacy of Omukama Kabalega. As a member, you will play a key role in supporting initiatives that promote leadership, community development, environmental protection and education, and general social livelihood improvement. Whether you’re passionate about cultural preservation, historical research, or making a positive impact in the community, the foundation provides a platform to engage with like-minded individuals and be part of meaningful change that honors the values of unity, resilience, and social progress. Membership contributions are useful in supporting the Foundation to undertake its regular programmes and activities.

Individual Membership Details

• As an individual member, get the opportunity to actively involved in Kabalega Foundation’s activities (e.g. through attending events and activities, member meetings, responding to consultations, taking part in committees, award panels, or conservation campaigns, providing volunteer advice or assistance to the Board or the Secretariat);
• Receipt of digital copies of our annual reports, activity reports, and other relevant publications;
• Receipt of a our quarterly digital eNewsletter;
• Opportunity to participate in the Foundation General Assembly and to vote on its affairs put to membership for input. (The General Assembly will take place annually during the last quater of every year. (Youth Members who do not pay membership fees, have no voting rights);
• Invitation to participate in the Annual Kabalega Independence Run, Annual Kabalega Memorial Lecture, and the Kabalega Royal Dinner, as and when it is organised;
• Minimum annual contribution is UGX 150,000/=;
• Minimum Life Membership: UGX 3,000,000/=

Family Membership Details

• As a family, get the opportunity to get actively involved in Kabalega Foundation’s activities (e.g. through attending events and activities, member meetings, responding to consultations, taking part in committees, award panels, or conservation campaigns, providing volunteer advice or assistance to the Board or the Secretariat);
• Receipt of digital copies of our annual reports, activity reports, and other relevant publications;
• Receipt of a our quarterly digital eNewsletter;

• Opportunity to respond to consultations on policy issues of relevance to our work;
• Entitlement to receive our annual reports, activity reports, and other relevant publications in e-versions
• Receipt of a our quarterly digital eNewsletter;
• Entitlement to attend the General Assembly of Kabalega Foundation which takes place annually and vote on our affairs, and the direction of the Foundation;
• Invitation to attend all our events and activities, i.e., the Annual Kabalega Independence Run, Annual Kabalega Memorial Lecture, and the Kabalega Royal Dinner, as and when it is organised;
• Minimum annual contribution is UGX 5,000,000/=;
• Minimum Life Membership: UGX 25,000,000/=

Group / Society Membership Details

• Opportunity to get actively involved in Kabalega Foundation’s activities (networking, lobbying, celebrating excellence and campaigning for causes of mutual interest);
• Opportunity to respond to consultations on policy issues of relevance to our work;

Student Membership Details

• Opportunity to participate in Kabalega Foundation’s events, activities, and conservation campaigns.
• Publications: Receive digital copies of annual reports, activity reports, and the quarterly digital eNewsletter.
• General Assembly: Opportunity to participate in the Foundation's General Assembly (Note: Voting rights are not granted under this membership category).
• Opportunity to volunteer with the foundation in organizing Foundation events and activities such as Kabalega Independence Run, Kabalega Memorial Lecture, Kabalega Royal Dinners, etc.
• Minimum annual contribution is UGX 10,000/=;
