Kabalega Foundation (KF) works to enhance environmental protection, conservation, and preservation, as well as promotion of best practices towards mitigation of climate change effects.

In the wake of the developing oil and gas industry in Bunyoro sub-region. There is a looming threat of environmental degradation if mass sensitisation on environmental conservation, and civic advocacy is not undertaken. Kabalega Foundation works to spear-head this campaign by sensitizing people and communities in our areas of operation about Environmental best practice and engaging the oil and gas players operating in the region on protection and preservation of the environment in their operations.

KF will lobby the Omukama of Bunyoro to institute a tree planting policy across the kingdom. Every household will be required to plant at least 500 trees. The policy will also be applied to traditional marriage ceremonies etc. protection of indigenous species will also be priotised within the kingdom.
