We work to foster and enhance social and economic development in communities in which we operate through providing access to affordable programs for livelihood improvement.

Given that most Banyoro depend on agriculture, KF supports smallholder farmers with knowledge and technical advice of how to improve their incomes from agriculture. We do this through organizing community trainings and providing agricultural extension services.

The oil exploration in Bunyoro sub-region has also created a number of economic opportunities for the local people. KF is working towards preparing the Banyoro to take advantage of these opportunities that the oil exploration is presenting to them. This will be done through carrying out enterprise development training programs for SMEs in the region.
