Kabalega Independence Week 2025

Scheduled for October 01 - 04th, 2025 in Hoima city, Kabalega Independence Week is organized under the theme "Celebrating Culture, Spurring Innovation & Community Transformation". The events, organized in partnership with Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom, and Hoima City Council,will feature a series of activities as detailed below;

Community Activations Campaigns (Pre-Event)

A month-long grassroots activation across schools and communities to celebrate Kabalega’s legacy. Activities include mentorship sessions, cultural storytelling, cleanups, and tree planting. This series lays the foundation for inclusive participation in Independence Week 2025. Environmental Protection & Conservation is crucial for safeguarding the health of our planet and ensuring the well-being of future generations.
