The #GreenFuture Campaign – A Call to Action for Kabalega Independence Run 2024

The current global climate change crisis needs the attention of everyone, and calls for a collective approach to addressing it. Aligned to Sustainable Development Goal #3 which aims for a balance in ecological, economic and social goals, such as reducing carbon emissions, promoting renewable energy and ensuring equitable resource access for all with a specific focus on the greater Bunyoro sub-region, where Uganda’s nascent oil and gas sector is budding with great economic potential for the country, but with need for specific attention to the environment to mitigate the sector’s impact on the environment. Kabalega Foundation’s Green Future Campaign seeks to address this.
